Non-immigrant visa

Normally, applications are processed within 2 business days if presented in person and meet all the correct requirements. The application by mail will have the same duration, plus shipping time. The Embassy suggests that you process your visa at least 15 days before the date of departure, and present the documents in the order shown below.

The Embassy reserves the right to request more documents, delay applications and / or refuse visas if non-compliance with the requirements and / or bad faith is detected.

There is no express service.

CATEGORY

This type of visa will be issued for applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the following purposes:

B	For purposes of attending business meetings, conducting business, participating in a program / training course under the same company / group of companies, or working in Thailand. (See requirements here)
ED	For study purposes, participate in academic projects or seminars, attend training courses that are part of your current courses, learn Thai language or other skills, for example, martial arts such as Muay Thai, diving, Thai cuisine with institutes / Formal private / public schools or study to be a foreign Buddhist monk in Thailand. EX	For professional experts who are going to teach their knowledge to Thais. (See requirements here)
F	For official purposes, for example, attending UN international conferences, attending / organizing an activity subsidized by agency / administration / public entity in your country or Thailand, etc. (See requirements here)
IB	For the purposes of entering Thailand to work with a private company receiving incentives from the Board of Investment (BOI). (See requirements here)
O	For purposes of visiting family members in Thailand, formerly Thai nationals who wish to return to Thailand, volunteer, court cases, parents accompanying their children to Thailand, volunteer chaperones, others. (See requirements here)
O-A	For applicants over 50 who wish to stay in Thailand for a 1 year. (See requirements here)

** EVENTHOUGH THE NON-IMMIGRANT VISA WITH MULTIPLE ENTRIES (1 YEAR) IS OBTAINED, ARRIVING TO THAILAND, THE MIGRATION CONTROL OFFICER WILL GIVE A PERIOD OF STAY ONLY FOR 90 DAYS, WHICH IS THE INITIAL DURATION OF NON-IMMIGRANT VISA. THEREFORE, ONCE YOU ARRIVE TO THAILAND, YOU MUST GO TO AN IMMIGRATION OFFICE TO OBTAIN THE RESIDENT CARD TO EXTEND YOUR STAY UNTIL 1 YEAR. THIS CARD WILL ALLOW YOU TO ENTER AND LEAVE TO / FROM THAILAND DURING THE DURATION OF SUCH PERMITTED STAY IN YOUR VISA.

PROCESSING TIME

Visa Processing Time:

Applying in person: Applications will be processed and ready in 2 days.

1. Complete the Visa Application Form Online (Click)

2. Print and sign the application form. Please note that for the tourist visa, the applicant needs to have 2 signatures in the form.

3. Prepare all the requirements.

4. Make the payment.

5. Submit the application at the Royal Thai Embassy. (Monday - Friday, from 9.00 to 12.00, please see the Calendar for holidays)

Applying through post mail : Applications will be processed and ready in 2 days, plus mailing time)

1.You can submit a completed visa application form (must be signed by the applicant) and required documents to The Royal Embassy of Thailand in Mexico:

2. We require you to enclose a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage stamps.
